What Is Hypnosis?

It is an association making mechanism, moving away from pain and toward pleasure and it does exactly what we tell it to do.
The Power of a Focused Mind
When the mind is focused, or the conscious mind and subconscious mind are aligned, the mind is enormously powerful. A good way to understand this phenomena is through observing the rays of the sun. Everyday the sun’s light radiates out over the earth. The light and heat created are relatively weak because the rays are scattered or spread out over a vast area of space. However, if we were to take a magnifying glass and focus the sun’s light to a single point on a leaf, the intensity of the light would be so strong that it would burn a hole through the leaf. This is the immense power of focused light or energy.
The mind works similarly. When our thoughts are fragmented our energies are dispersed and the power of the mind is compromised. However, when the chatter in the mind is still and our awareness is focused on a single point of interest, the mind becomes like a laser beam. We have the power to be and create anything we can imagine.
